Christmas Begins

Last night we celebrated our first Christmas this year with Grammy and Grandpa.  We all had a wonderful time, eating, laughing and remarking at how patient Georgia was being about just looking at all of the presents Grammy and Grandpa had put under the tree.  Georgia knew she got to open them that night so after a few bites she gave a big smile and asked if she could open her presents.  In no time there was paper flying and squeals of delight, she kept remarking, "oh, it's just what I wanted!"With some minor assembly required, we got things put together and she was off and running, grinning all the way. 
Without a doubt, the best part of the evening was soaking in how amazing Georgia is all by herself.  When we think about holidays past and glance at the Santa pictures on the mantel we are reminded that right there in front of you is nothing short of a miracle.
Thank you for a great evening Grammy and Grandpa, there are many more to come.

 Georgia is thrilled with her fancy new stroller,

it was parked right next to her bed overnight with her baby,

 new tea set and new diaper bag inside.

I'd say Christmas is off to a great start!
