Georgia and the Bear

A few months ago Georgia received a beautiful polar bear stuffed animal from some family friends.. when Grammy & Grandpa were over yesterday I brought it out to show them. After they left I took the bear and set it on Georgia and she started to giggle.. within minutes those two were having a ball.

Well, hello

You're as big as I am

I really like this guy!

Swimming

On Tuesday Georgia and I started swimming class.. I thought it would be good to get her comfortable with the water and maybe learn a few techniques. It was her first time in a pool and she did great, kicking and splashing all around. If Brian has anything to do with it this girl will be on a surfboard in no time!

All psyched for class

Wow, that was fun!

Boating

We finally had good weather and made it out on the boat today! We weren't sure how Georgia would do but were pleasantly surprised when she enjoyed it then fell asleep for an hour! Being the slightly overprotective parents that we are we had our little monkey in head to toe (well ankle) SPF 50 :)

Uh mom, my cheeks are stuck

What is this cool thing?

I like it, I like it!

Georgia Peach

So far Georgia has a pretty picky palette, there are only a few foods that she seems to enjoy. Today I gave her some peach, true to her name she loved it!

YUM!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

For his birthday we gave my dad a picture of all three grandchildren together.. hard to believe three years ago there weren't any grandchildren! Here are a few other photos from our attempts at getting a good photo of a 2 1/2 year old, 6 1/2 month and 1 month old...

This was the winner

Happy Father's Day!

Today we celebrated Brian's first Father's Day and also got together with my family to celebrate with my dad who also has a birthday tomorrow! Brian is such an amazing dad and has so much fun with Georgia, they both get such a kick out of each other which is really fun to watch.

Notice where Georgia is looking.. trouble!

Farewell to the Handsaker Family Home

On Saturday we headed to Brian's childhood home one last time.. Jim & Kathye moved out a little while ago but recently sold. It was time for one last hurrah at the old house. It is such a great place with so many memories but most of all it is a street that brought several families together. There are four houses on the street, about 30 years ago there were four families living there, three of which had dads who flew for Flying Tigers (now FedEx).. they all had sons and about three years later all had sons again. To this day the six boys are more like brothers than old neighbors.
